C+E is in Tokyo.

We’ve only been here for a short while and we’ve already seen a lot - from the emptied streets and shelves in convenience stores and eerie lack of illumination in formerly glittering parts of the city, through to the upbeat hospitality and energy of restaurants and bars.

Thus far we’ve met up with designers, stylists, DJs, fashion buyers, boutique owners, press and media company directors, business strategists and PR secretaries - all of whom have given us wonderful insight into how people are coping with the events both here and elsewhere in Japan. We’ll be posting our encounters and interviews over the coming days as well as overviews of the general mood of Tokyo as things progress.
